Frequently Asked Questions

What Material do you use?

  • We build holsters/sheaths/carriers from thermoform plastics and we use Kydex and Boltaron.

Which Textures do you use?

  • P1 texture is our standard texture although you will find different textures in the store from time to time.  We like trying new options.   If a holster doesn’t have a specific texture label, its P1 texture.

Do you offer custom colors?

  • We offer many colors on the market that we are able to obtain. If there is a color that is available and we don’t offer it, please contact us as we will do our best to procure it.

Can I send you my Pistol/Knife to have a holster/sheath made?

  • Yes, we are a 01 FFL. If you have a firearm we can not procure a mold for email us at sales@kydexholstersolutions.com for details on the process.

What shipping service do you use?

  • We ship our orders through USPS.

What can I expect my lead time to be?

  • Typically orders without any attachments will ship within a week. Orders with attachments vary in processing lead times due to the amount we have (these are all hand prepared so it adds to the processing times). In many cases this can be 2-4 weeks (give or take). Please understand we are not using machines for many of these orders due to them being custom built, so there is quite a bit of preparation involved per order for us to do, so we can ensure that the holster is properly made. Please don’t ask us to rush as we will not send out orders quicker, it’s not humanly possible. This is a process and we ask for you patience.
  • Currently we have seen a very large increase in orders which is causing longer wait times. This is out of our control. We are doing our best to complete your order as soon as possible.

How do I know my order was received?

  • If you sign into your profile the order status will say processing. This mean we received it, it’s paid  for it will remain in this status until we begin the manufacturing process.

How do I know my order is done?

  • We will update your order status to order “complete”.

How do I know my order has shipped?

  • We will update your order notes and provide shipping details. This usually happens a day after your order status is changed to “complete”.

Why don’t you offer next day?

  • Many of our orders are custom builds. However we can accommodate anyone needing a order in a rush if it’s a standard product with basic options. Email Orders@kydexholstersolutions for availability on rush shipping.

 Can I pick up my holster/sheath/carrier?

  • Yes, choose local pickup for your order and we will make arrangements with you when your order is completed.

Do you ship internationally?

  • Yes, we will ship international but buyer will pay any additional fees incurred by the process.

How do I return a holster/sheath/carrier that is damaged?

  • Sales are final on all products however if there are any adjustments needed we will make those at no additional charge (other than the cost of shipping the item to us). We ship our orders with insurance to cover damages that may occur in the transit process.

Do you accept credit cards, checks, cash, etc?

  • We accept PayPal or Credit/Debit and Cash (if sale is in person) payments.

Can I get my holster/sheath/carrier faster?

  • Yes, we offer an expedited order option for an additional $50 and typically we can process these orders in 2-3 days. However when ordering a custom holster additional time will potentially be added depending on the configuration.
  • We recommend emailing sales@kydexholstersolutions.com and asking about your specific requests to ensure we can expedite your order (In most cases we can).

Can I Phone in my Order?

  • Yes, we can process orders by phone however we prefer ordering be completed on our website at www.kydexholstersolutions.com, because this allows the customer to select the necessary configuration to best suit their needs.

What if you don’t have the mold for my gun?

  • Email sales@kydexholstersolutions.com with your specific request and we will either aquire a mold or you can send your firearm to us through your local FFL.

Do you accept dealers?

       • Yes, all dealers must supply a copy of their Sales & Use Tax Permits and it can not be expired.

What is your refund policy for cancellation of orders?

       • We do not accept order cancellations and this is due to the funds allocated to acquire the order. We invest funds into extensive marketing campaigns and we purchase  materials specifically to fulfill your custom order.
